We went to Dan & Missy's house over the Labor Day weekend and had a great time. We went to church on Sunday morning and on Monday after fishing in the morning, Dalton was tying his shoes to go on an afternoon walk with his parents and little sister, Gracen. Grandma and Grandpa stayed at the house and rested. Grandpa even took a little nap.
Dalton has learned to tie his shoes and he was proudly showing them to Grandma. He is growing up fast and is now in the first grade at school and he has a really nice teacher. He loves school and even rides the bus sometimes.
Here is little Gracen with her water bottle and red, white and blue outfit complete with patriotic hat ready for a stroll in the sun.
This is Dan's first garden and he did a fantastic job with it. These are some beautiful tomatoe plants and he also had picked some watermelon which tasted really good. Dalton enjoyed helping him with it this year and they all enjoyed the bounty.
Here is a pretty little goldfish pond Dan added to their front yard. It is right by the front door and is larger than the photo shows. He has spent a lot of time on it and he has added some really nice shrubs, trees, flowers and plants to the outside of their home making it look like a home in Better Homes and Gardens. Dan definitely has a green thumb.
